Menopause – is it ALL bad?

We see so much about the negative effects that reaching menopause can have, but there is SO much that is positive!

For instance, if you’ve had problematic and painful periods all your life, you’ll be delighted when they stop!

If you’ve been a people-pleaser all your life, you may find you’ve gained some courage and pluck by the time you’re post-menopausal.

If you never spent time on pleasing yourself, always putting others first, you may decide that it’s time for you to benefit, and be kinder and more generous to yourself, putting your needs first.

If you have always been a little introverted, well, you might find a new sense of adventure that you didn’t know you had!

If you’ve always had a glorious sex life but were worried about getting pregnant, there’ll be no stopping you now!

And if, during your menopause, you hit a new low in your moods, once through it, you may find that your joie de vivre has hit new heights, because you realise how lucky you are to have had the experience and found your way through it.  Go girl!

All-in-all, the journey from perimenopause to post-menopause will teach you a tremendous amount about yourself.  It’ll highlight things about you that you didn’t know existed before; it’ll take you to places in you that’ll reveal amazing, remarkable parts of you that, by giving yourself love and time to gain knowledge about YOU, will propel you into a new adventure, a fresh, brand new chapter of your life for you to share with others with all the wonderful wisdom you’ve acquired.
